The medical industry frequently utilizes absorbent cotton gauze swabs to protect wounds of patients. Therefore, it is crucial that the hygienic quality of these swabs is of the utmost importance and that they do not contain bacteria or viruses. If infected, these wounds may lead to further complications. As a result, strict standards and requirements must be followed during the production process to ensure their quality.

To start with, the selection of raw materials involves the use of clean absorbent cotton. This particular type of cotton has undergone a chemical treatment to eliminate any traces of fat. As a result, it possesses enhanced liquid absorption abilities compared to regular cotton. Not only is it deemed hygienic, but it is also utilized in the production of nitrocellulose. The initial cotton material undergoes a series of processes, including impurity removal, degreasing, bleaching, washing, drying, and finishing. These steps ensure the cotton is purified and prepared for further usage.

One of the key benefits of absorbent cotton is its hydrophilicity, which means that it is capable of absorbing water very well. Thanks to this property, it can be utilized as a cotton ball soaked in 75% alcohol, making it a great disinfectant. When looking for absorbent cotton, it's essential to ensure that it's of good quality. This means that it should be odorless, tasteless, and colorless, with long and soft fibers conducive to excellent water absorption. The cotton should also be flexible, easy to layer and free of harmful substances such as acid and alkali. Meeting the technical standards established by the Ministry of Health is also critical to ensure the cotton's safety and efficacy.

To produce absorbent cotton gauze blocks, a meticulous process is followed to guarantee their exceptional quality. Firstly, premium absorbent cotton is carefully chosen for this purpose. It is then combined with a specialized solvent that facilitates the manufacturing process. The mixture is heated by immersing it in boiling water, creating a cohesive composition. After this crucial step, the solution is cooled down and thoroughly rinsed to eliminate any impurities. Subsequently, the prepared gauze blocks are left to dry in a sanitary environment, ensuring they remain in pristine condition. To meet the highest standards, the blocks undergo a comprehensive disinfection and sterilization procedure. Only when they have successfully passed rigorous quality checks are they deemed qualified for delivery.
